The story of the Trail Bloom Ambassadors
At Trail Bloom, our ambassadors are more than just riders, they're chosen to be a part of something bigger. A community of women, who love to ride the trails and have impeccable taste in women's MTB clothing! Jokes aside, they're chosen because their positivity on the trails and advocation for female riders shines through. I have been so lucky to have had some amazing ladies support Trail Bloom from the beginning, and as we grow each year, so does our little team. So who are they? And what do they do?
In this blog post I thought I would mention a couple of ambassadors who have been kind enough to answer some interview questions so you can get to know them a bit more.
🚴 Jess – From a Broken Foot to Finding Her Flow
Jess’s MTB journey started unexpectedly during lockdown. After breaking her foot, she began riding her brother’s old bike for daily exercise – and fell in love with it. Since then, she’s become a regular on the trails and a coach with Kaiserchief MTB Coaching.
“Some weeks are harder than others, but MTB has become part of who I am. Riding has helped my mental wellbeing massively – it’s the only time my head is truly quiet.”
Balancing coaching with personal riding can be a challenge, but Jess reminds us how important it is to ride for ourselves too – even if it’s just 30 minutes around the local loop. Her advice?
“Make time to be a little selfish. A quick ride is better than none!”
Her go-to Trail Bloom gear? The khaki animal print jersey and socks – total faves.
I'm super happy to say that Jess and I are working together on something exciting for spring 2026.... make sure you're subscribed or following on instagram for more information early next year!

🚵 Lucy – From XC Racing to Lake District Adventures
Lucy’s love for bikes began in school, commuting with her mum and trying her first XC race in 2012. Since then, she’s been racing and riding whenever she can.
Now based in Cumbria, she balances full-time work teaching young people about social justice with guiding MTB adventures on the weekends.
“Biking has truly changed my life. I honestly don’t know how I’d handle stress without it.”
While weekday rides are often on the road, Lucy saves her weekends for trail time. Her advice for winter riding?
“Don’t be too hard on yourself if you slow down over winter. Motivation comes back with longer evenings!”
Her top pick? Trail Bloom trousers – “comfortable, lightweight, and the best fit.”
I am so lucky to have Lucy riding for Trail Bloom again in 2026, she is a speed demon between the tapes and always looks like she's having a great time!
What I've learned from these women is so much more than what's on the trails, or how our ladies' MTB jerseys fit, it's grown my love for the mountain bike community ten times over. The encouragement, the support and the amazing gals to ride with and push me to my limits (and everyone else riding with us) is what makes me love the sport.

A huge thank you to my 2025 ambassadors
What started off as a great way to build brand awareness has transformed into a real sisterhood! A team of amazing women who support in any way they can, from leading women's only social rides, to racing in Trail Bloom jerseys, or tagging us in everything they do, to recommending our chamois shorts to a woman who is sick of saddle sore. And I am so very grateful for them.
