What to bring 🎒

✅ Your bike — any type of mountain bike is fine

FAQs ❓

Is this event free?

Yes — completely free to attend. The only things that cost anything are the paid coaching sessions with Adam (Skillsloop), which are booked and paid for in advance on the Trail Bloom website.

Do I need to book in advance?

You don't need to book to come to the event itself — just turn up! But the social rides (She Rides and Recce) do need to be booked in advance for insurance reasons, and paid coaching spaces are limited so book early. Yoga, PT and Trail Side Fixes are sign-up on the day at the event village.

I'm a complete beginner — is this for me?

Absolutely. Trail Bloom events are designed for all abilities — from first-timers to experienced riders. The social rides are graded so you can choose the level that suits you, and our free beginner coaching sessions (fully booked, but waitlist on the day) are perfect if you're just getting started. Come as you are.

Can I come on my own?

100% — you are very welcome to come alone, and loads of people do! Trail Bloom events are a brilliant place to meet other women who ride, and you are almost guaranteed to make new riding friends on the day. Whether you come solo or with a group, you'll be welcomed. That's what this community is all about.

Can I come if I don't have my own bike?

You'll need a bike to take part in the rides and coaching sessions. If you don't have one, Cannock Chase Cycle Centre hires out bikes — it's worth contacting them in advance to check availability and book. You're also very welcome to come along without a bike to join the yoga or PT session, browse the Trail Bloom range, and enjoy the atmosphere.

Can I bring my e-bike?

Yes — e-bikes are welcome. Please check with the individual session leaders when booking your social ride, as trail rules at Cannock Chase may apply to some routes.

What if it rains?

The event goes ahead rain or shine — we're mountain bikers, a bit of mud is part of the fun! Pack waterproofs and layers just in case. We'll have a marquee at Pine Needle Glade so there's shelter on site.

Is there food and drink available?

There is a café at the Cannock Chase Visitor Centre nearby, but we'd recommend bringing your own snacks and water for the day too — especially if you're out on the trails. It's always worth packing more than you think you'll need!

Will I be able to try Trail Bloom kit on?

Yes! I'll have the full Trail Bloom range with me on the day so you can try things on and see how they fit. We're not set up for on-the-day sales at the event, but you can order online at trailbloom.com — including right there on your phone if you find something you love 🙌

I have a question not answered here — who do I contact?

Drop me an email at hello@trailbloom.com and I'll get back to you as quickly as I can. 💚

🗓️ Next up: Sherwood Pines — Saturday 12 September
