Sherwood Pines MTB Ladies Day - Hosted by Trail Bloom

Date: 10am-3.30pm, 7th September 2024 
Location: Sherwood Pines, Sherwood Forest, Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire, NG21 9JL
Tickets: Free (reservation required)

Join us for an empowering day of mountain biking exclusively for women at the beautiful Sherwood Pines! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, this event offers something for everyone.

Event Highlights:

  • Meet like-minded female riders
  • Build confidence and skills in a supportive environment
  • Variety of workshops and coaching sessions (limited spots, first-come, first-served)
  • Social rides for all levels, from gravel beginners to red-grade trails
  • Shopping opportunities
  • No bike? No problem! Rentals available through Sherwood Pines
  • Parking voucher for £5 all day parking from Forestry England.

Workshops and Coaching:

  • Bike setup - 10.00-12.00
  • Trail side bike repair workshops - 11.00-12.00 - book via email
  • Fundamentals coaching sessions - 10.00-12.00
  • Limited spots available - book early after reserving your ticket!
  • Additional paid coaching by Clancy Briggs - 12.30 onwards - book directly with Clancy Briggs

Social Rides: Experience Sherwood Pines' diverse trails, including:

  • Robin Hood Adventure Cycle Trail (Blue, 9.7 km) - 11.30-12.30
  • Outlaw Trail (Red, 13 km) - 14.00-15.30
  • Guided Ride with Breeze - 14.00-15.00

  • A photographer will be present. By attending, you consent to your photo being taken and potentially used in future promotions.

Fun and informative

Despite the weather lots of ladies of all abilities and experience gathered together for a fun day at Sherwood Pines. Thanks to great organisation by Trail bloom we all had the opportunity to learn new skills, join in trail rides, chat about bikes and make new cycling friends (and do a little retail therapy). Great day.

Great ride out with lovely ladies

Really loved this ride out. It was perfect fpr my current fitness levels. I found the lady explaining about repairing a puncture, very clear and informative. I certainly learned a few things.
Everyone on the ride were friendly and encouraging. The ladies guiding the ride were outstanding! Afterwards the Chill and Chat was great. Good chats with likemind people.
I'll certainly be doing a ride again.
